What’s SUP Racing
SUP Racing is more than just competition. It's a personal challenge, a goal to aim for with a shared community of paddlers with a similar interest and passion. Races can be a mix of Flat water, Coastal, Technical, Sprints Ultra events in different locations hear and abroad.
It’s a great for balance, coordination and also involves lots of muscle groups giving a really great all-round workout. But most of all your enjoying the water in a natural environment with like-minded people supporting your journey on every session.
Who can take part?
The Races and SUP Fit sessions will cater to all with anyone welcome who wants to give it a go form race beginner to more seasoned paddlers. As a minimum you must have had an induction and be able to self-rescue. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions.
What equipment do I need?
As all sports it can be expensive to begin with, so we help by supplying a selection of boards to use on our sessions, And of course your welcome to bring your own. When you eventually decide to buy a board, we can help advise what might work for you and your paddle goals. On all our sessions leashes and PFD’s must be worn to take part. You should also bring a couple of clothing options so you can adjust to the conditions.
