Day River Trip Price £65 per person (Discount with larger groups)
The trip can be bespoke to your group either 6km or 11km in length and it approximately takes 3- 5 hours.
We will meet at Boroughbridge Marina Carpark. Here you will be given a safety brief and provided with the equipment listed below. There are toilet facilities at this car park. From Boroughbridge Marnia we will provide transport to Ripon where our paddle begins. The trip will be 11k in length and takes approximately 3:30-4:30 hours.
The SUP adventure starts on the picturesque canal in Ripon. A few kilometers into our paddle, after passing through a couple of locks, we will take a break at the beautifully kept Oxclose Lock. Snacks eaten and batteries charged, it's onto the meandering river Ure. You will find yourself gently gliding down the wide, slow-moving river with the sounds of the water and birds to keep you company. Look out for riverside wildlife such as kingfishers, herons, and lots more. Soon we will pass the grand gardens of Newby Hall and our halfway point at Westwick Lock. The river journey then continues all the way down to the pretty town of Boroughbridge where we finish at our original meet point, the Marina Carpark.

2 day SUP Adventure Ripon to York (All kit supplied evening meal and breakfast)
Description
We will meet at Ripon Marina Carpark. Here you will be given a safety brief and provided with the equipment listed below. Where our paddle begins. The trip will be approx 48km in length and will take 2 days to paddle. Cars will be left at Ripon and you will be transported back from York.

To come on this trip you must
- Have paddling experience (e.g. have completed an intro to SUP session or simlialr).
- Be able to self-rescue (get back on the board in deep water unassisted).
- Be able to swim and confident in the water.
- Have the flexibility to get from kneeling to standing.
- Have the ability to paddle a minimum of 20km ( we have training paddles that you can join before expeditions )
Day 1 meet at Ripon Canal

Snacks eaten and batteries charged, it's onto the meandering river Ure. You will find yourself gently gliding down the wide, slow-moving river with the sounds of the water and birds to keep you company. Look out for riverside wildlife such as kingfishers, herons, and lots more. Soon we will pass the grand gardens of Newby Hall and shortly after arriving at Westwick Lock for lunch. The river journey then continues all the way down to the pretty town of Boroughbridge we can stop if needed to use toilets at marina. We then have another few hours paddle passing Aldwick bridge to get to Linton Ouse lock where we will set up camp and enjoy an evening beside the river and the local pub enjoying a nice meal.
Day 2 Paddle to York
After a breakfast roll and hot brew at the onsite pub we take down the tents and load our SUP's ready for our paddle to York, A slightly shorter day where we start to see the river get a bit more busy with cruise boats , barges and in the distance we begin to see the magnificent York Minster. Finally we will start to paddle through the lovely city of York where we will be transported back to Ripon, But not before a celebratory drink to finish the epic trip

A minimum of 5 people will need to have booked onto the trip for it to go ahead, this will be confirmed ahead of time.
If this trip is booked as a open group it can be made bespoke to your team.
